Chinedu Okafor has over 20 years of combined advanced practice and Registered Nurse experience. She has diverse experience in Adult Care, Geriatrics and Home Health, Children Medical/Surgical Care, Newborn Nursery, and Neonatal ICU. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington, and her FNP-MSN in 2014 from Walden University. Chinedu Okafor also holds two other Bachelors Degrees in Biology and in Interdisciplinary Studies. She chose to be a Family Nurse Practitioner because she really loves all patient groups and wanted to be able to help a broader spectrum of patients. Her passion lies in preventative care with the belief that "one ounce of prevention equals a pound of cure." Her experience as the administrator and supervising nurse of Integrity Home Health Care Services for over 15yrs has also prepared her with both the business and clinical skills needed to manage a healthcare organization. Chinedu is a patient advocate and strives to give her very best to her patients. She considers her job as a calling and believes that serving God and others is simply what life is all about. Chinedu Okafor is also currently working on her doctorate as a mental health nurse practitioner. In her spare time, Chinedu loves to read, travel, and spend time with her "wonderful" husband and 4 kids.
