Dr Chinedu Okafor has over 2 decades of combined advanced practice and Registered Nurse experience, including experiences in Adult Care, Geriatrics and Home Health, Children Medical/Surgical Care, Newborn Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and Psych/Mental Health. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington, her FNP-MSN in 2014 from Walden University, and her doctorate in Psych/Mental Health in 2023 from University of North Florida. Chinedu Okafor also holds two other bachelor’s degrees in biology and in Interdisciplinary Studies. She chose to be a Family Nurse Practitioner because of her love for the whole patient population. She fell in love with psych/mental health, as it allows her to care for her clients in a more holistic way. Her passion lies in preventative care with the belief that "one ounce of prevention equals a pound of cure." Her experience as the administrator and supervising nurse of Integrity Home Health Care Services for over 18yrs has also prepared her with both the business and clinical skills needed to manage a healthcare organization. Chinedu considers nursing as a calling and believes that serving God and others is what life is all about. Chinedu also loves to read, travel, and spend time with her "wonderful" husband and 4 kids.
